Javascripting costs

Can some of you who are independent consultants provide me with a) what makes javascripting special as a design tool; b) how much do you charge/hour?

    Thanks :-) Sorry about that. I only know Flash, Dreamweaver, Firefox and Photoshop. I'm trying to figure out what this Java/script stuff is, as a lot of the sites that I've seen use that instead of say, Flash.

      Google will tell you everything you need to know (and more) about JavaScript. It's ECMAScript, like ActionScript, but in a web browser environment instead of Flash.

      No relation to Java whatsoever. Good luck!
